The City of Rotterdam along with Rotterdam The Hague Airport are the initiators of RHIA. With the establishment of the Rotterdam The Hague Innovation Airport Foundation in May 2019, they have made it their mission to tackle the economic, social and sectoral challenges of aviation through an holistic approach.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RHIA consists of a small and flexible team which collaborates with partners from businesses, governments and knowledge institutes. With their network of public and private partners they initiate new collaborations and build successful project consortiums. RHIA facilitates a unique testing ground at the Rotterdam The Hague Airport where new services and products are tested under real conditions. Through this all, RHIA facilitates and accelerates new, scalable projects to export to other sectors in the region and the rest of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the projects at RHIA bagchain deployed with\u00a0Aviapartner is our\u00a0\u00a0bagchain\u00a0gate kiosks. Assisting gate agents to check-in and label excessive hand luggage at the gate. Fully automated, professionally, super fast and efficient. The gate agents keep full control of the boarding process and improve the boarding flow. And no more flight delays because of checking hand luggage at the gate. Just scan the passenger\u2019s boarding pass, the hand luggage is checked-in and a self adhesive eezeetags bag tag is printed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
