We are extremely pleased and excited to announce that today we delivered our mobile bagchain tag kiosks to SWISS at Zurich Airport. Passengers flying with SWISS but also passengers of Lufthansa, Austrian, Brussels Airlines and Edelweiss will be able to scan their boarding pass and check-in their baggage and obtain a baggage label. Simple, fast, and convenient.
Using the mobile kiosks SWISS has the flexibility to use the kiosks where they are needed most. Charged overnight the kiosks run an entire day on one single charge.
Over the past few weeks our kiosk manufacturer VZ Industries assembled a new set of our bagchain tag kiosks. Our popular mobile baggage check-in kiosk for use at the check-in area and many more places in and around the airport. Many components are required to assemble our mobile kiosk. On the picture an overview of some of these components. The kiosk body, the trolley and printer brackets.
Very busy times at VZ Industries our manufacturer. They are assembling a new batch of our bagchain MPU kiosks and bagchain tag kiosks. More and more airport and airline customers discover the big advantage of using mobile kiosks. They can assist in queue management, resolving congestion queues and additional baggage check-in capacity . Placed at strategic positions in and around the airport were you need additional capacity to check-in baggage. Powered by a battery that will last the entire day these kiosks are truly mobile.
This week we attended and exhibited at the Aviation Festival Americas in the Miami Beach Convention Center FL. After the World Aviation Festival in Amsterdam and Aviation Festival Asia in Singapore this was the 3rd Aviation Festival conference to attend this year. This conference was especially for the airlines & airports in North and South America and the Caribbean. It was good to see and hear that airports and airlines also in the Americas have an interest and budgets to invest in new technology. Especially to improve the customer experience and reduce the waiting times. Our mobile bagchain solutions help airlines, ground-handlers and airports achieving these goals. It was also good to catch up with our fellow start-ups Clara CCO & Alejandro founder and CEO from Chaise Longue, and Johnny founder & CEO of cielo.ai. We haven’t been able to enjoy much of Miami but it was a good conference with some new leads and prospects.
Especially for the Americas we are attending the Aviation Festival Americas. May 16-17 in the 🌴Miami Beach Convention Center 🌴, Miami FL. We are bringing our mobile remote baggage check-in solutions for airports, airlines and ground handlers to the conference. Powered by our own eco-system bagchain cloud you can even use our baggage check-in solutions at the beach 😎. Anyway if you get tired of shopping, a sunburned or bored at Miami Beach visit us at stand SU-10.
14-16 March we exhibited at the 25th Passenger Terminal Expo in Amsterdam RAI. It was a very successful Expo. Many airlines and airport attendees visited our bagchain booth.
There was a lot of interest for our mobile solutions including our mobile iOS app and Bluetooth bag tag printer, mobile bagchain tag kiosk printer and our Business Class Lounge automatic entry solution. Especially now with the passenger traffic picking up, baggage check-in off-site the airport is a very hot item. This can be handled by logistic companies for home pick-up services, or provided by the airport at the airport parking lots, rental car center, bus/train stations or even in the departure lounge.
With our mobile baggage check-in solutions, airports can better handle the peak of passengers.
It was crowded today at the elevator at our office. All our mobile kiosks left our lab at the same time. On their way to the Passenger Terminal Expo 2023 for its 25th anniversary. This time the PTE event is in our backyard in the RAI in Amsterdam. We are looking forward seeing you here from March 14-16 at stand 1247. Just look for our orange signage 😉
Aviation Festival Asia is a wrap. Thank you all for stopping by our bagchain pod. It was great to meet new prospects and catch up with colleagues. Also great to meet Sören Destoop from iPort/Res2. iPort is one of the many Departure Control Systems that are now connected to our bagchain cloud. The Asia Aviation market is really booming which is great to see.
